Michigan Hogs Open to Public?

I just heard news of the DNR opening hunting of any hog on publice or private land to any licensed animal hunter in MI. This is because they have had a rise in Hog's getting out of the pens and the DNR doesn't want agrowing population in MI.

Anyone hear of this? I'm looking for more information.

Why didn't they broadcast or advertise this more?

I agree,I never heard about it till I saw your post on it.
I would gladley go help eliminate some Ferral Hogs.
There are none in My county.
I think the closest county to me is about 1&1/2 hour's away

Yea, sure would be fun to go out a day a bag some in the wild though.
