Help with Ohio Hunting Lease

Hello all. I am a very responsible hunter who is seeking a hunt lease or private land to hunt in the SouthEastern Ohio area. I live in Belpre, OH. I have had my gut full of Wayne National Forrest land, and want to get something a little less crowded. I dont mind driving a reasonable distance. I was wandering if any lease close are accepting new hunters. Please let me know.

There are a ton of leases on SE Ohio. The Mead Corporation sold off a bunch of land last year, but you could still check their website for possibilities.

I am surprized that you thought Wayne was too crowded. I never had that problem there. Have you tried various areas of Wayne? I must admit though, I have never been down there for gun season.

aep just opened up about 2600 acres up here in athens county to hunting and its a good area to hunt its between the plains and nelsonville
