I haven't been out. With all of this rain being poured on us, it hasn't even looked appealing, specially since my hunting areas are flooded. Can't do any winter hunting without the snow...[:'(] Stupid Michigan.

I have been out. I have been seeing groups of does on the edge of darkness. My camtracker pictures are all taken at night. One of the pictures had a 2 year old 8 point with 1 antler already shed.

Manchester, both sides of 52. We have great genitics. Too many Michigan hunters kill the first buck they see.I would like to see some archery only zones.

Yeah I live and hunt in the Upper Peninsula,It's really strange not having any snow,Even now towards the end of December.
I'm hoping to get out tommorow.
I have been seeing doe's in back of the house but they are coming out
in later light only 1/2 hour befor dark.
Then again with the wolves around they are real skiddish,They have been skiddish thru all the season's,,,early archery, rifle, muzzy and now.
Along with the weather,,It's been a real challange this year.

I have been out 4 times since muzzleloader season ended. Every single time I had to deal with tresspassers. I didn't have this problem during the gun season so don't understand it now. The deer are extremely skidish due to pressure and the few deer I have seen is right during the earliest light and they are on their way to bed down. I hate this late season doe slaughter...at least from a bow hunter's perspective. It was always so nice to have a few weeks of quiet and I usually see big bucks the last couple of weeks of the year. I have always bought a combo license and have never used the second tag. Next year I will not be buying that second tag...regardless of what they do with the proposed license fee increases!!!!
