You will be hunting the Ohio flat-lands. Mostly small woodlots between fields on private ground. Not the numbers of deer that SE has but a few nice ones seem to come out that area. Plenty of feed for them to grow if the farmers don't turn the ground over too early. I believe it's a 1 deer county.
I am not very familar with the area but go there often now. My best friend lives in St.marys(about 20 miles away) and he hunts the woodlots next to the farms before they harvest. Hardly any public lands at all so there would be a little footwork involved attaining some lands to hunt.
