Everyone in IL ready for 11/22

I am. The gun is sighted in and ready to go.

It's better than Christmas. Can't sleep the night before. And don't have a problem getting up at 5 in the morning.

I love bow hunting but shotgun season always seems more exciting. Must be because it is only two weekends instead of 3 1/2 months like bow season.

Heck no I am not!!!

I don't slug hunt, but I usually have a deer before slug season and this year I don't....yet. Maybe this weekend, if I am lucky.

I am definately ready. After a few years of shotgun hunting, I finally got my first deer last year. @of them to be exact. For some reason shotgun is exciting. The deer are running, and scare the crap out of you when they sneak up on you. I LOVE it!!

Shoot straight and shoot often.

I'm not too excited, because i am working 6 PM-6 AM on that fri,sat,sun. i'll be able to hunt fri morning, but that might be it. i've already got one with my bow, and hopefully another by then. either way, i think i'll live.

I have to work Friday. New job, no vacation. I'll be at it Sat & Sun, though. We don't have A LOT of hunting pressure so the deer are usually still moving in daylight. I've seen quite a few deer while bowhunting that would be in gun range so hopefully that trend will continue next weekend. For some reason, I only drew an either sex tag this year so I hope to make it count.

I'm very excited!!! I'm taking the video camera along to video my 12 year old this year. Hopefully this will be the year he gets his first deer. I think I'll take along the Remington 700ML also just in case Dad sees a big boy. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

My wife is due with our 2nd child in 2 weeks and I had to cancel my annual outing to Carroll County. Boy am I jealous of you guys. Knock em dead for me. Good luck and see ya next year.

Ok I know I already responded to this, but I've been bitten by the bug. I have a four hour drive after school Thursday and I just know class is going to take forever. I now have the fever, the time is here boys and girls.
