I have not been down to the farm I hunt since sept. 30th, but there was sign everywhere. I counted at least 20 scrapes and over 200 fresh rubs. I would imagine that by now that number has tripled or more. I know the farmers son shot a beautiful 8 pt. last saturday that had a 21" inside spread. Can't wait to get down. Good Luck!!!!! Lucky you ! This Sat. we are cutting two trees, draging in, cutting, spliting, stacking and then going from labor to refreshments of baby back ribs and brats grilled over hickory smoke. A few may tumble out of their bunk Sun. morn for hunting. Lazy s hunt club
Where I found all the sign is in northern Morgan county. I also hunt Athens county but the sign usually does not show on that farm until around this time of year. Going down tommorrow for the first hunt this year, let you know what I see when I get back. Good Luck!!!!
The sign is just started to get going around me. Quite a few scrapes and rubs have popped up in the last week.
