Default Public land in NEMO

Anyone here hunt public land in NorthEast Missouri? I started checking out some public areas in my part of the state due to the loss of my private ground, and wanted to talk to someone that might have some experience with it around here.
Also, how do you move up in levels on this site? Such as moving from a fawn to a spiked buck. Is it determined by your number of posts?

Can't answer your public land question (I hunt in MO, but on private land).

Your "level" on this site is determined by your number of posts. I believe "spiked buck" is after 100 posts. Not sure of the rest of the break-down.

Where are you located, and what counties are you interested in exploring? We have hunted in some of the Conservation areas, mainly in Lincoln and Ralls counties, but not recently.

This site may be useful to check out Conservation areas in MO - it containsdetails on the MO.Conservation Areas, andyou can zoom in on the maps:

[Make sure to click on the appropriate Layers on the tool bar on the right(esp."2003 True Color Image") to see details.]

Good luck and good hunting!

Two great places that come to mind immediately are Rebel's Cove just east of Lancaster, Mo. and Deer Ridge north of Louistown. You can camp or stay in local motels. Good luck
