Just curious as to which Zone you applied for and how many preference points you had.... We already had one point going into this draw and have never not been drawn in Iowa having at least one point....Seems alot more folks are putting in for Iowa every year I guess...??

I'm hunting this year in Zone 5 for the second shotgun season, 2nd year in a row I've drawn. Has anyone received their license in the mail yet?

There arefew deer in IA and they are real small. I wouldn't waste my time or $$ coming to IA deer hunting. Just trying to be helpful and looking out for your hard earned $$.

HCH is correct, #'s not there, still may be alot a deer, not like it used to be. havent seen too many monsters the last few years, where are you folks planning on hunting in our great state?

Yeah, I don't know why I drive 1200 miles to hunt those little deer, I must need my head examined!

I am hunting in zone 5, 1st week of shotgun.. No points, I just put my cousin and I in a group of 2 so we would draw together .. No liecense yet ..
