The place turns into a ZOO opening day of gun season .
But years back 2 of us did good there by hunting between where the deer got pushed from and where they wanted to hide ( privite land )
But I hate hunting with that many guys around .

Never bow hunted there , but did see some signs of places guys had hung stands

Have not hunted deer there in several years , found better public land that never seems to be hunted except for us

I have killed a few limmits of ducks on a pond there over the years .
Including a limmit of teal and 2 geese last early season ( Spring pond )
Don't mind telling where because I am hunting elsewere .

It sure does John. Hunted it 25 years ago and triped over people before day break. Come legal time the place erupted.

Know some guys who bow hunt there so there are most likley many more. Public hunting in N.W. Ohio is limited and used. Try the Maumee state forest for a laugh as well.

I partially agree. Public land in NORTHWEST Ohio sucks because there isn't any. Unless you duck/goose hunt, then you're in the right place. I don't even bother deer hunting up here. Seems that every darn woodlot has a house in it. It's just like I'm living in a subdivision interspersed with beanfields.[:@]
However, there is quite a bit of public land in Southeast Ohio. And that's where I go. It's prettier down there than the pool table flat, oil refineries and nuclear power plants on the horizon, drainage ditch lined landscape we have here.
