There are only hours left to buy your illinios nores. archery tag .Got mine in, should know in a couple days ,will they post them on the web?I live for hunting season! I am a better hunter then a writer.

Just a bump to see if anyone has any information on if the quota of 20,000 was hit or not.

The quota was not hit. There were 18000+ applicants and they will be announcing how the remianing tags will be distributed within a week or so.

Life is alot brighter after reading that. My camper is still packed from last year. The last week of oct. I will be at saliom springs the next week I drew Panther creek were I hunted last year.I have never hunted saliom spings anybody have anything to say about it?

I just leased a big farm between the main park and the Buckhorn tract. Scouted several times and was really impressed with the sign and the bucks we saw. I'll be there from the last week of Oct throeugh shotgun season. Drop me a PM before you go and maybe we can compare notes during our hunt.

Hey BT do you work at sony ,I'm from connellsville I saw a tuck in the parking lot the other day that said something like monster bucks in il. on it . sticbow I was there the first draw week ,I hunted the north east edge mostly and left out of the camp ground befor the bridge on the left ,never got a shot on anything big but saw a few I did see a 200" class buck standing in the middle of the road in the camp gound way befor daylight one morning.I drive a ford f350 crew cab green with a front plate that says headhunter on it.

JEPC is a truly amazing place to hunt....I went three years in a row but haven't been back for the last two....I am definitely going to be putting back in again next year (time allowing)....Out of the group I went w/ in those three years we pulled 4 bucks all over 130''.....Good luck to ya there this year....I envy you!!

Hey Dayna! No, I dont work for Sony but thats my buddy Mitch. He'll be in Southern Pike County While I'm at the Brown County Property. My truck is the same color as his but I have an extended cab and his is a true 4 doorbut they both have similiar decals. I also have a Pa Plate that says BOWHUNTR on the front. I'll watch foryour Green Ford.
