Default WI Turkey Hunting

Thought I'd start a thread now that the season has started. Anyone have any luck so far? Let's hear some stories and see some pics of those longbeards!! I still have to wait till third season, but I've been chomping at the bit to hear/see what's going on.

I got mine Easter morning. 22lbs, 9 3/4inch beard, 3/4 inch spurs. It was a long season, way to hot for the birds. They just shut down when the sun started beatin down in the morning.

My season in May3-May7, I have been scouting all month and I have a question, WHERED ALL THE DAMNED BIRDS GO??!!! We had 2 flocks of about 100 each and all of a sudden they are gone, I can even get one to gobble in the morning whenI scout. But i have seen this year after year for the past 16 years of hunting and i always get the same season and I have no doubts that when the fields are greener and the bugs are thicker theyll be back. They always come back
