Deer I take it. I got 439 hours in the woods this year so that wasnt to bad. This was my 5th year in a row not to miss a day of hunting. I need to count up my deer sightings. I know it is around 400-500. I hunt Jefferson/Switzerland Co.

most of the guys around the bowhunting thread know that I was out of commission for part of the season due to a broken leg/ankle. Still managed to take 4 deer. No bucks, missed a monster though. Dumb move. I hunt in Noble country north of avilla. Good hunting there. I know that mongo has quite a few deer too.

I had a great year. I've been bowhunting for just three years. I shot a doe in mid October. I then shot my first buck on Nov. 1 with my bow and it made P&Y. It was a 9 point that that weighed 180 lb. and officially scored 130 2/8" and grossed 135". I then shot a coyote a couple weeks later with my bow at 40 yards. It was also an expensive year with getting the doe processed, getting the buck mounted and getting a full mountof the coyote. I hunt in Kosciusko County, which I think is a good county and is only getting better.

Monster10,

Manchester is a beautiful campus. I played and coached at Indiana Wesleyan. We play Manch. This was way back in the early 90's. Alford was still the coach there.

You Indiana guys need to look at Coal Hollow Tax. He charges 250 for a shoulder mount and has them done in 6-8 months.

My dad killed ten this year. Three bucks and seven does. He killed a six pointer at Big Oakes, a decent eight at Charlestown State Park and a 140+ eight in his back yard. I killed four a small seven and three does.

These are two of the bucks my dad got. The smaller one he killed at Charlestown State Park and the bigger one he killed at his house.
