What turkry shell?

I am going turkey hunting for the first time with my Mossberg 500. What size or type of shell should I us. I have tried Win 2 OZ 4's and Rem 2 OZ 6's and they seem to be doing about the same at 40 yards. I am trying to stay away from the new Win Xtended Range shells at $30 a box or what ever they cost.

When you got a turkeysitting infront of you, and you got 1 shot at it, would you want that 1 shot to count? Would you want to make sure that you can reach an extra 10 - 15 yards? Would you want to tell the family, Isaw a big Tom, shot, and hit/missed him, but thenhe ran/flew away? Instead of a $1.50 turkey shell, get a $2.50 - $3.00 shell like the Federal Flight control Heavy shot, and the cheapest choke you can find that will shoot heavi shot(I have a $25.00 Primos TightWad choke). No kidding....60 yards, 15 - 19 kill zone hits EVERY TIME with a 3 1/2 inch shell with #5's, using tru-glo open sights on my Remington 870 Super Mag.
