He was a true PROFESSIONAL both on and off the field. There aren't many like him left in America's pastime. He put people like Barry Steroid to shame. God Bless you Kirby.

what do you mean on and off the field......I know he could pack the wood, but he was not the best role model off the field, what about his women abuse problem? in which he was convicted.

Most off feild problems occured after retirement.

Some but could be mostpro athletes have women on the side when they visit on away games. I knew a married woman and a group of her friends were groupies for the Detroit Tigers.

Kirby admited to his problems, he still was man enough to do that. Very few athletes can say what they have done wrong.
