LOVE THE BLACKHILLS. I'VE BEEN HUNTING THEM FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS. I HAVE HAD GREAT SUCCESS HUNTING THERE. A GOOD AREA TO HUNT IS CALLED THE BURN, JUST OUTSIDE OF PIEDMONT. HAVE SEEN PLENTY OF BUCKS OVER THE YEARS IN THAT AREA. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND I AM JEALOUS YOU GET TO LIVE THERE--LOL !!!

Hey Tony,
Thanks for the input. I ll go out on monday and check it out. I t is absolutley beautiful out here. I have not yet become accustomed to it yet. Been a flat lander all my life, Northern Illinois and north central wisconsin.I am getting used to it but, WHERE ARE ALL THE WALLEYE< NORTHERNS AND MUSKIE? Trout fishing is fun if you want to catch bait for the muskies.lol
Thanks again

Send me a PM and I can give you some information on where to shoot a doe around the Spearfish area. There isn't much for muskies but Orman Dam is fun when the spawn hits for walleyes.

Hey Bigbuck,
I went out and found a nice gulch out by rochford. I also have found a good spot out by custer. I just wish I didnt have to work on sat(muzzleloader opener). Hopefully sun and monday will still have snow.
Thanks for the input guys I really appreciate it!
