Any idea when the rut will come in in Ohio or at least when i can start to find rubs?? I want to know really when i can start to use scents to atrract some deer thanx
Personally, I find the first of November to be the time to start worrying about the rut. However, I've seen bucks chasing does in mid-october a few times. I would think that the end of the first full week in November would be the time, give or take a little.
Pre-rut is an excellent time to rattle, though.
