Default Let's see those Wisconsin bucks.

Post pics here of your bow or gun kill, or that of someone you know. It would be nice to have some specifics ie weapon of choice, area of state, and any other info.

My son Jake, 12 years old, took this eight pointer 15 minutes after we got set up in our stand on Saturday morning. The buck was taken from a stand that we erected on our land in Northwestern Wisconsin ( Foxboro ).He dropped the deer in it's tracks with one shot from the Remington Model 7 in .243 that Santa was thoughtful enough to give him last Christmas. Jake and I took Firearm and Bow Hunter Safty classes together over the summer. After the report from his rifle Jake, inhis excitment turned to me and yelled " I got him dad, I got him!".It was a time togetherthat I will always cherish. Arrangements to mount the head have already been made.

Here'smy first of two bucks shot in Monroe Cty, in western WI. He gave me the slip during the early bow season but I was able to connect last Saturday. He green scored 154". My best buck yet. I'll add the other one to the post as well.

Here's my second buck taken on the same farm but in a different valley. This place has some great genetics and hopefully the antler growth will increase after I put some food plots in.
