I have bow hunted hard since last Saturday here in Iowa. I've seen bucks bird dogging does really hard. Today, I was chopping corn stalks and saw two different "pairs". One set was bedded down on a contour buffer strip in the middle of an 80 acre combined corn field. The bowhunters are in the timbers, so that big old boy will be safe.
