Default Ohio rut question.

I can't get out in the woods until saturday morning. How will the rut be then? If it helps I hunt in the Wooster area.

Well the rut has been real slow in west ohio. But with the cold front moving in im hoping that the activity will kick up this week.

Once this front moves through I think things will be fine! I look for Friday and Saturday to be perfect days!

I hunted all day last Saturday in south-central Ohio and there was absolutely nothing going on around my area.

I just got done hunting 4 days straight, Sun-Wed., and hardly saw anything moving. The weather was CRAP, windy and warm! I hope this weekend will jump start the rut, or more activity anyway. Suppose to be 25 degrees Friday night, and it's going to stay fairly cool all weekend. We'll see though!

Seem a couple nice bucks in the woods. Most of the good one that I've seen were standingon the side of the road. Bad place to see em.

Well I made it out to the woods last saturday.I didnt see any bucks following does, but I did see 2 bucks on the move looking for some. The second on I saw was a nice 8 point shooter 15 yards in front of my stand. The bad news.....I shot just under him. Hopefully he will come back around this weekend.
