Default KANSAS KILL 2005

killed this buck last saturday morning at 7:45, he was working a scrape and i grunted him to 30yds and took the shot he ran 40yds. Hes only 31/2 grosses 165 13pts this was the first deer that i saw and it was my first hunt this year maybe i should of waited since we own 4000 acres and alot of good deer, southeast kansas has alot of big bucks. what would you of done?

That's a VERY nice deer, especially since he grossed that much with such a narrow spread! Congrats!

I would've done what you did, and then I would be back out there to fill at least one doe tag, if not two, which would keep me out there to see what I had to look forward to next year!!

I think most of us who don't have 4000 acres to hunt would have taken that buck without thinking twice. Very nice deer. Congratulations! Thanks for sharing

Have to wait. he has killer potential....sometimes hard to do but if you get to hunt that area often it is an investment..
