Default makin an artifical scrape

iwas wondering if any of yall could tell me how to do this or maybe or tell me of somewhere where i could get this information,,,also what do u do when makin a scrape that u think makes it more productive???

I use a small hand rake or shovel, like the kind you use in the flower gardens.
Scrape an area below what a deer would use as a licking branch about 4' off the ground.

Most importantly! Wear rubber boots and rubber gloves. You absolutely need to control scent from you. I usually snap the licking branch and fray it a bit.

As to what scent you use it's entirely up to you as you'll get alot of different words of advice. I like to use the urine & scent glands from a fresh killed buck whenever I can get them.
