Has anyone seen the newest issue of north american whitetails. They have pics of a buck from some where in iowa that could of been the new world record if someone could of shot it. they have its last year sheds and everything. take a look at it if you have the chance. It is huge.

I saw that. I was wondering if they could get close enough to take pictures, how come they couldn't get close enough for a shot. i kinda think something fishy is going on.

Just got the mag and it seems to be true with these guys even having sheds from previous years. Most of the footage was from cams but some was from an actual hunter filming with a handheld. The deer is huge and all film was taken in late summer and early Sept with never an actual hunting sighting. Looks to still be out there.

I wonder why they didnt mention the county or town of this deer?????????????????????????????????????

I don't think who ever took the pics of the buck wants anyone to know where it came from just so people don't try to poach it. There is no telling what a person might do to get that buck

I saw the story truely a monster buck hope he lives to a ripe old age the story said a bioligist guessed him at 4 1/2. he'll be walkin on two front legs by the time he's done the rack weight will keep him on a permanante tip

Sounds interesting, Maybe his off springs won't be as smart. Keep the lineage going.
