Default Green Bay, WI archery dealers....

hey all, just wondering if anyone from the area around Green Bay, might have a particular archery dealer they feel is fair in pricing, service, and in helping customers find the right gear...I'm looking to get into bow hunting, and just looking to find a good dealer to speak with. thanks.

Buckfu,
Hunters Edge on the East side of GB is pretty good, Nickoli's Archery Lanes in the old Nickoli Sporting Goods store on the West side is new so I don't know about their reputation. Avoid Backwoods Archery in Suamico, he just wants your money. [:@]I now go to The Archery Shack in Neenah, these guys really know their stuff.
Good luck.

You would have to drive a little ways, but Lena Swamp Archery on Hwy 22 East of Oconto Falls is a great little shop.

I got my '05 Hoyt Dynatec for $435 from Brunners Archery in Manitowoc. The cheapest I could find one anywhere is $475. The owner set it up with my draw weight, draw length, sight, arrowrest, nocks, and 2 hours of shootingfree of charge. If I was looking to buy a new bow, I would buy it from here.

just one last question, and this may seem kind of silly, but from a rookie's point of view, I felt I should ask.....

Is there any kind of ettiquete when going to an archery shopt and wanting to test a few out? obviously no dry-firing [:@], but I mean, is it ok to pick one off the shelf and pull it back right there, to see how the draw feels? things like that....

thanks.

Hell yeah I would shoot every bow in the shop! If they won't let you I would go somewhere else! Most shops have no problem letting you shoot a bow! I shot about 10 different bows before I chose my Bowtech Mighty Mite!!!!! This is the only way to find out if a certain bow feels best to you! If I were you I would shoot as many as possible and go with the bow that feels best to you! Good luck and have fun!
