RE: Michigan cougar kills horse
wow. funny thing is that it happened here too. but there were two of em running around. but there were sightings of them and they were said to be BLACK. but as soon as they were spotted they were gone. but they got one of my class mates horses. she lives on a farm about 5 miles from my farm. i was on patrol watchin all our cows with my 7mm mag. i never saw it. good thing cuz it prob would have killed a cow before i could have takin it down. but some neighbors said that at night they would hear a noise that they had never heard before. so it was freakin some ppl out. but i think that they are gone. or some one shot em. but not with out chewin a big chunk out of my friends horse. she had pictures and the horse is still alive and fully recovered. but at the time of attack. in the picture you should see the horses juggular vein but not punctured. so its very lucky to be alive.
