Its rare we get to see big 6 points in Wisconsin. Most mature deer where I hunt have at leaset 8 points. I filmed him on the edge of a public marsh where I hunt. About 18 inside small brows and just two big forks!!!
From what I have seen, Texas is probably the #1 state for mature 6 pointers. This is probably a very old deer as their rack size decreases with age after prime maturity. Usually and deer older than 5 1/2 starts growing smaller and smaller racks.
i think that i shot a mature 3x3 last year with my bow. not sure though but his inside spread was 16 and had some prty long forks. biggest 3x3 i ever seen. until now.
