Default Early Goose in IL, have you seen any?

Just wondering has anyone seen much geese starting to get down into IL? I live right on the IL WI boarder and I saw a few last week when we had the hight of like 69 but past that this hole week I have not seen a single goose. I am just wondering is normal that the early season looks like it might be a bust? I have 6 full days for early season open but I am starting to wonder about this weekend.

I wish they would come down to the IL side.

MM this is not sounding good for me. I wonder if the low water levels are the problem. This might suck since I do not have any backup spots off my land to use and with limited decoys I do not see how trying to get a corn of soy field latter in the year is going to do me any good.

I guess I will have to wait and see.
