elkaholic2008@hotmail.com My season is done I couldnt find the gobblers west of ft collins but I did find an awesome bull that was winter kill and scoped out some good areas where I think they will be earlier in the spring. Also I was told by a guy when I left that the gobblers stay high right on the snow line in that Trinidad spot. Any info on this or truth to it? Seemed wierd to me that I found great flocks of hens without a gobbler.
Lastly, on sunday were you on the west side of the private doing a little calling? I think I talked a little hen talk with you on suday at about 1:00. I chased a couple jakes up that mountain but couldnt catch them.
