Hey Ken, I was not selected for the NM elk permit. Congrats on your draw. I am not sure as of yet as to where I am going this year. There are a few things up in the air. Have been trying to get my brother and nephew to go on a hunt but Illinois's pricey Whitetail tag prices have them a little gun shy. We have been looking at maybe Kentucky but there is even a possibility that the military might be sending me on an extended trip accross the pond sometime around that time frame. What dates are you guys going to be at JEPC? What is that WMA you killed oyur deer at last year. Is that near Havana?

Rob, Are you coming back to JEPC this year? I drew another firearm permit there, so will be there for at least a week again. Plus a couple other public props nearby. Don failed to draw gun, but his son & dad drew. So Don will be the guide. His son also drew a great New Mexico elk tag.

I drew New Mexico archery elk unit 45 which is where I suggested you apply, and Wyoming moose unit 20. Will work a week between hunts in Denver.
