No problem. I searched around for one. I ended up finding a guy who had two of them. And I bought them both. Tom.

Dang Tom, I just noticed your visitor message. Sorry about the late reply. Anyway, I bought that sight.

The forum notifies me when I have a new Private Message, but evidently does not do that for Visitor Messages.

I honestly do not know. There are Warne Picatinney style, and I like them. Call the lady at Warne, she is very helpful. Sorry I can not help. Tom.

The conical load needs some work. However I realy like hunting and shooting with bullets that I make. And they are a whole lot cheaper.

I am currently having a hip and knee problem so my range time is nill. If not then I would have had this conical completely figured out this summer. But some times your health can hold you down a bit. However I will figure it out.

    Talk to you later, Tom.

I will admit that I am not a shooter that shoots for groups. I am a hunter who shoots for accuracy. My concern is where does that first shot go. So normally I clean the barrel after every shot at the range. I do not completely take the rifle apart, however I do give the barrel a good cleaning between every shot. However when we go to the range we spend the entire afternoon, and I live within 10 minutes of a few different ranges, and a lot of the times we shoot off the front porch, so time is not a factor for me.

The TMZ load works at 12X on my Leupold 4.5X14. All shots hit within 3 inches of center all the way out to 250 yards with the TMZ. And all my conicals hit within 4 inches of center out to 200 yards at 14X.

I have not tried the BH 209. I know a lot of guys like it. I have heard its hygroscopic properties are not as bad as T7, but I do not know that for a fact.

Unfortunately for me I like to shoot a lot, and that powder is very expensive. And I do not mind cleaning my rifle, so black powder is no big deal to me. And the 3F black powder is pretty consistent.

I have not taken any pictures of my groups. However I think a 5 inch group at 200 or 250 yards is not exceptional for a good MZ. But it is very adequate. And as I said 5 inches is the largest groups I have had a few under 3 inches, but between 3 and 5 is the norm.

I personally do not like the Triple7 powder. I think it is too hygroscopic. I will probably stay with Black Powder and conicals. I have considered a lighter conical, but probably will not go that way. I am trying to find a .502 sizer for my sizing die. I think I can tighten the groups up if I size the bullets, and weigh each bullet after sizing. I can get smaller groups with tighter controls on my bullets. But I have not done that yet.

I use the Remington BP 209 primers.

I bought 700 of the Red jackets. And I reuse them from time to time. So I am sure I have plenty to get me through.
