Jim,
Yes, they perform like all the other Lehigh bullets. I see no difference on Hogs and Deer with the 200grn bullet thru the 300grn. Probably on Elk and Bear the heavier bullets would be better. Those 200grn bullets with 140grns of BH209 are tough to beat. I watched a guy use a 250grn Lehigh and the bullet traveled the entire length of a big russian boar thru the Armour plating. The Hog took zero steps.
Have you ever shot any game with the 250 gr Lehigh DOAs? If you have, how did they perform? They are shooting very good out of my .50 DISC Elite with 110 gr of BH 209. Let me know.
As far as the rod, tell Don you want the charge height indicator. They were supplied with all rods. If you cant get it, let me know and i will get you one.
My rod did not come with the height indicator. I was not told who was making it or anything until a couple weeks ago. Don wouldnt let that info out as it was pre production.
Wrong info again. I designed the rod, and it is in production being made as we speak. Why are you not using the charge height indicator? We supplied those to Western Powders awhile ago. I assume that's were you got it.
