Heads up. You could start getting passes for deer hunting at Midewin yesterday. If you are intrested you should head down there w/o delay. Need to show your hunting license and habitat stamp. The passes are required and free.
Do you know anything about the public areas around Peoria. I have a friend that has a little place up there and I'm going hunting there the first week of november, but if it doesn't pan out I will be looking for other alternatives. Any info is greatly appreciated..
I saw a post back in March where you referenced having a public spot near Midewin that charged. Can you tell me anything about this option (I completely understand if you want to keep your secret). I am just tired of hunting overcrowded areas with highly pressured deer. Thanks!
