Default 500Acres in IL Randolph County for sale

Great all around property that has been managed for going on 4 years.

I know "managed" is a buzz word these days!

Within our 500 and the surrounding 900 for a total of 1400 acres, there have only been 4 bucks shot off this place in 2 years. This is due to strict managment trigger fingers. We have hinge cut strategically on our 500 acre farm, planted over 20 acres of food plots each and every year that have fed the deer year round. Put in trail systems, created pinch points and have designated sanctuaries. This property has gotten better each year as evidence proves! Every single picture, video and kill was taken directly on this 500 acres. No neighbors pictures, all our pictures!

Definetly some awesome looking Hunting Ground....I was born in Randolph County but moved to Missouri many years ago...the property your selling looks familar? Is that property actually on Kaskaski Island Area, which would be more accessable from the Missouri side in St. Marys MO.?

No, the land is most accessible by the levee road, which is private unless you own property along either side. I think Kaskaskia Island is a few miles south of us. We are about 1 mile up river from where the Kaskaskia empties into the MS river.

This is why I think the ducks and geese are so plentiful.

This land is ready to go! It is not joke when I say we had 9 shooter bucks on this 500 acres last year. We hunt only a small portion of the ground because we keep so much as a sanctuary. We believe all these bucks made it through the season. We have a great contact with our neighbors to the North and South and the big island. There was only 1 buck taken last year, 2 the year before and 1 the year before that. This place will be LOADED with mature deer this year. We should have at least 6 bucks ranging from 150 to 190 this year.

2 things to keep in mind.

The WRP payment is HUGE for this ground for a return. We have not enrolled due to the fact we want to pass this onto the next person for them to make their own decision.

The other is the fact that the 600 acre island that sits behind us is considered MO ground. The guy who owns it has no problem with me hunting it. This means I can hunt MO and IL within footsteps of each other. I have 1 spot on my place where I can sit and watch all the deer come off the island and filter into our fields across the open slough. Makes for some very fun scouting!

Default Property reduced and split

Realizing, most people don't have the means to buy 500 acres, so we split up the property and reduced it as far as we can!

Deer hunters take notice and waterfowl hunters, don't let this opportunity slip by you.

Buy all of it, half of it or part of it! ONLY $1650 an acre! WRP PAYS $2,800 per acre and there is 200 acres available to enroll.

That's got to be a typo, must have meant that it pays $2,800 per year, heck if it pays $2800 per acre per year, sign me up!!
