Bowfishing-wise, it was horrible. Hardly any fish anywhere. We had Barb Baird from the WON (Womens Outdoor News) on board with us and I'm surprised she didn't die from boredom. I think 13 lbs was the winning weight.

We went up to the Carlyle spillway afterwards and only saw gar (lots of them) and small silvers. Not a bighead anywhere. Weird.

Thats a long trip for bad bowfishing. At least she rode the fantoon
