7-19 clinton spillway

Well a friend and I went over to the spillway at clinton lake there where lots of fish every where I shot my first and second bowfin ever the biggest was 7# my friend also shot one and i missed 1 other . if you want lots of action theres plenty tp be had there

I presume your shooting off the bank ?

so did you just walk down the rocky bank like close to the actual spillway or were they all over? how much water is going over right now?

shot the bowfin by the bridge but there are fish from the spillway all the way to the bridge and not much water coming over . we also waded alot

must have been a floater to shoot it in the belly like that
i shot a few dead fish b4 to but didnt count them as "first"

thats where i shot it again to carry it back to the truck they have TEETH so i wasnt going to Lip it
