Exclamation Lake Sangchris

Went to Sangchris this AM, working the shore of the big cove west of the dam. Fish started moving about 9:30 and shooting was good all the way around and into the willows to the far west. I lost count, but the lake gave up at least 20 commons, incl a couple with the big "mirror" scales, plus some pulloffs and plenty of misses. I also made my first "on purpose" double in a couple of nice 18+" commons. Big fish of the day were a few 20-22" sows.

Sangchris doesn't seem to have many big fish, but there are great numbers. I've never shot it at night under lights, but I would think it would wear you out.

I've shot it under lights but you have to get there early in the season otherwise too many lilly pads which make it difficult to navigate. I agree, lots of carp but not many hawgs. Nice shooting and thanks for sharing.
