Default 4/12 Lake Shelbyville

Cliff and I made our way to shelbyville today. water is way down mud banks is all there is, water clarity is 14 inches at best and that was down south. As usual the farther north you went the clouder it was. Found almost all the fish back in the very end of the coves. Did a lot of running and looking for calm water. It just never quits amaizing me how the wind can blow from every direction. lot of crappie fishermen. we managed to boat 10 nice common and had one buff pull off. Was really to get out on a nice lake and use the big motor. Almost got my fishing license checked. I'm 64 years old and never have had my hunting or fishing licence checked. Just when we came in and docked a Cpo Drove up, gave us a wave and drove off. Dont know if he knew we were bow fishermen or not. our bows were in the bottom of the boat, the only give away was our blue barrel. oh well

it just went up a foot or two last few days. The river was so bad and low we got stuck 3 or 4 times fri night and had to get out once and try to push out. Coolest thing was besdies the fish we got about 10ft from a collared deer in the river. Im gonna have to hit lake in a few weekends at night

Yea, the guy at the bait shop at wolf creek said the same thing bout it going up. boy, it sure must have been really low. there were so many places and coves where we use to shoot fish that were high and dry. Maybe this year for the state tournament we will not hae to shoot up in the trees.
