Default Tournament Schedule

Do we have any type of Tournament Schedule started for 2011? Need to start getting the calendar marked up before the wife does

This is what it looks like so far:

Billy Davis Memorial Tournament at Rend Lake. April 16-17th. 7pm -7am. Numbers tournament. Sailboat Harbor.

Carlyle Classic. Lake Carlyle. April 30th. Daytime shoot. (probably 9am to 4pm)
This will be a big 10 or 15 or 20... haven't decided yet.
Illinois Youth Bowfishing Championship will also be on the same day, same lake, same launch. Time will probably be 8am to noon. Last time we had it longer and there were some tuckered out little kids. LOL

The State Championship at Shelbyville is the one that is really still in the air. Last year it was the third weekend in May. That worked out pretty good. Last weekend in May won't work. Second weekend of June is the Two Rivers Fishing Fair so that's no good either.
You have a preference??

Why the 3rd weekend?

I think that might be late for carp and buffs but would be okay for the gar.

I agree, june would be too late for the carp. was a blast last year shooting a boat full of carp. Mr. Extreme said it was the most fun he has ever had. STILL YOUNG but that is ok

Hmmm I like the numbers of carp at the state shoot last year but as soon as the sun went down so did the fish. I vote for a later date it would be nice to have carp gar and buffalo in the boat

We still found lots of gar and carp after dark. Spotted and shortnose gar tho'. The buffs were waaaaaay up north.

So it's between the third weekend of May and First weekend in June.

Anybody else have any input?
