Lake Shelbyville 8/8
Snuffy & I hit lake shelbyville today. Went to a totaly new place and ramp that we had never been too. Found a few commons 10 to be exact. Water is still pretty stained. They were pretty much in the dead grass and sticks. We fought the wind all day. Then in the after noon we found a nice calm bay that the long nose gar were rolling. We spent 3 hours going around and around. Lots of snap shots or long snap shots. Snuffy managed to land a nice 47 inch long nose to beat his own 44 incher that he shot last week. Well not to be out done, I suck a 48 incher that weighted 13 pounds 6oz. Did not see a buff or even anything that we though was a buff. Did notice that the gar were really rolling in the early afternoon, as the day wore on they were less and less. Finally hit the ramp at 5:30pm
