Default The Worlds Bowfishing Tourney

I know this is not a Illinois Bowfishers event it is a BAA event... However Myself, Tony, and another fill in (Brian can't make it)will be going down to Kentucky / Barkely Lake on friday for the tournament. We will not only be representing Outdoors Experience but also the Illinois Bowfishers...... Hoping to put up some good numbers...

We are also meeting up with Shot N' The Dark's Ryan (Puffdaddy) and Jeff Pigg in Mt. Vernon and will follow eachother down there.

I will let y'all know how it turns out.

Ken

Have fun. Sounds like it's going to be a zoo below the dams. You're probably better off on KY Lake chasing the buffalo.

Good luck!

How many boats? Who won? How many fish/lbs?

What did you break? How'd the Shot n the Dark boys do?

....competition down there is a bit different isn't it?

Huh???? did you say somethin????

LOL... It was VERY different shooting with the big boys.... There were 52 boats,
Team AMS won the numbers with 644
Tim Johnson and his team won big 20 with 409.6lbs
Big Fish was Ben Binkley, David King III, LJ Planer with a 69.2 lb Big Head

We shot a whopping 18 and a big fish of 15lbs could not find them.... covered a good 25-30 miles on my boat ...... On the bright side we did beat the Shot n' the Dark boys... They were down to 2 shooters by midnight... One wasn't feeling good.... I think they ended up with 7 fish...

Did I break anything??????

Let's see.....
Brand new stainless prop tweaked..
Trolling motor foot completely ripped off of the shaft
Stern light ripped from the boat and broke the socket
Smoked the clutch on my truck pulling the boat up a massive boat ramp.

it's bowfishin... whatcha gonna do????????
