just in from Rice lake

After a couple of weeks of high water the boat ramp is now open at Rice Lake. Three of us went out for about 4hrs. and had lots of action. A couple of nice buffs(biggest little over 10#), lots of medium to small gar, and lots of shots at grassies in the 3-5# range, schools of 1-2# bigheads. Would have taken a camera and posted pics, but cant figure out how

It was great to meet you Sean!

It actually got pretty nice out after the rain left. Dusten did manage to shoot a few fish despite not have polarized glasses. Jerry meet up with us later. He got to watch the three of us try and try and try to hit the dinky silver carp that kept swimming around the boats.

I think we ended up with about 16 fish. Had at least that many pull off. Missed a few zillion.

Hopefully Dusten had a good time and my driving skills didn't leave him too scarred.

So glad everybody had a fun and safe time. We left 30min after meeeting you folks. thunder made be nervous. We had a similar day with lots of shots at small grassies. Sure was tough seeing into the water with no sun, but nice and cool. We left when it started sprinkling.

i had a frekin blast never had so much fun in my life. even if Christine ran the boat out of gas LOL. going friday to get a good pair of glasses. so if you guys want a deckhand again please call ill be free the next 2 weekends. and i pay gas money LOL. i cant thank you guys enough it was great
