headed to the river

we are heading up to peoria to try and shoot some fish in the flooded back water wish us luck will post pics later tonight

Did you go out on the main river or stay in the backwaters?

anxious to hear your report. We fished a backwater lake near Peoria yesterday and today. Lots of small grassies and a few 5 -8lb commons. No bigheads this weekend. Sure sweated a lot.

we also shot alot of small grass carp some small gar and buffs and 4 nice commons we hit some back waters we did get a few silvers to jump in the main river but only around 4 or 5 and they where small also
