B.A.S.I.’s First Annual Garmagedon
Lake Mermet just outside of Metropolis, Illinois
June 26th – 27th
From 7pm – end time hasnt been decided yet
$30 per person with 3 person teams
This will be a numbers shoot for Gar Only
Side Pots = Biggest Gar, Smallest Gar

Reason for the date switch was the Site Superintendent thinks the shoot will be a good addition to the already full weekend at the lake. On this weekend they will have the ASA Archery Tourney going on also with many archery manufactures at the site so come early and check out everything going on that weekend, or if ya are into competition shooting enter in the event and shoot the tourney afterwards.

Louie and I will be there shooting the ASA PRO/AM Tournament and we always hit the lake with our bowfishing bows after the tournament to shoot some Spotted Gar.... Mermit lake is always just thick with gar.
I know we wont be able to participate in the Bowfishing Tournament since we have to sleep that night so we will be fresh on Sunday AM to compete in the ASA PRO/AM Tournament, but we will be out there shooting some gar and would like to meet up with you all for a little while.

Where will the Boats be launching at on Mermit Lake on Saturday evening ???
