Default Big brother's watching

First of several things. I called and talked to my contact this morning down At the corp of engineers for Carlye Dam. First there has been no complaints about any bow fishermen so far this year. Also was told that there are several camera's posted along the river. They can watch what is going on as well as the CPO's come in and watch as well. So a word to the wise. Also found out that as of today they are releasing 500 cubic feet of water per second through the dam. By friday they will be releasing 3,000 cubic feet per second. So there will be 6 times the amount going down stream. Not really sure how it will effect the fish, but will be finding out as we are headed down on Friday. It it is too bad we will just run up to Shelbyville.

I was down there sat. and sun.Shot a few and had a great time. But I will say again in responce to no complaints about bowfishers,"The amount of trash and dead fish on the banks from bankfishers should get them booted!"

Jerry, YOU ARE SO RIGHT. IT IS DISCUSTING. IF THEY CARRY IT IN THEY SHOULD HAVE TO CARRY IT OUT. BUT THAT IS OUR SOCIETY NOW DAYS. LET SOME ONE ELSE DO IT. CHIEF IRON EYES WOULD BE PRETTY UPSET. What was the water clarity like? we are planning on a trip down on this friday.

The lakes here are surrounded by houses, very few spot for public to fish, but those spots are so full of litter. Just sickening.

Good reminder about the cameras...
We should always be aware that while we are enjoying our favorite pass time, someone could be (and probably is) watching.
Being on our best behavior because it's the right thing to do and because we are ALL ambassadors of our sport.
Acting appropriately may not win anyone over, but acting inappropiately can not only harm our image, but give ammo to anti's.
Sermon over, carry on...
