lake shelbyville 5/19/10

well billy and I went out wed. morning around 10:00am till 3:00pm the lake is 2' down from summer pool. get up in the river, you have to be careful with the water this low but the carp are spawning.
then we hit the main lake north end around wilborn creek muddy but carp are starting to move in for the spawn.then went to coalshaft area you can see 2' down a few carp not many. mid lake you can see 2'-2 1/2' did not see many fish.only seen 3 gar they were short nose no long nose gar still must be deep? talked to some bass fisherman they said they have not seen any gar.
not one buff during the day time.
this weekend things should be getting better,there are 3 tournys going on sat. and 2 on sunday.
looking forward to see everyone sat. hey ken nice looking boat.

Thanks for the update. North end huh? I was told there aren't any fish up there... ;p

Yea I hear ya...I know there is no way in hell I would ever go to the North end....

Thanks for the update and the compliment Mike...Now I can go just about anywhere I want now... Don't have to worry about getting run over!
