here is the flyer for the Shoot we are hosting at Rend Lake Sporting Goods on may 22. RLSG is located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois right in the middle of a bunch of great lakes and rivers to shoot on. Hope to see some of you....

An impressive 13 teams started out the morning Saturday at Rend Lake Sporting Goods and scattered across the southern part of the state.
Was a pretty rough day shooting wise as most people only seen gar and very few buffs or carp. By the end of the tourney at 6pm only 2 teams dropped out due to mechanical problems.
We raised a good amount of money for the charity and I think all the participants had fun other then the heat, it was in the low 90’s.
It was a great turnout for the first annual event, next year’s event date is set for the third weekend in May and we really hope to add more participants among other things to the event next year.
