My son and I hit a Il river backwater lake sat. afternoon here in central il. Found a half mile stretch of brush with lots of bighead and grassies crusen in the sunshine. All about one foot under the surface just swimming in the sun. Shot four bighead and four grass carp. Missed many more than that. Great afternoon!

Great, it sounds like the warmer weather last week has really helped out the activity. I might have to pick a good day and head out after work this week. What part of the IL were you on?

bowfishing near Banner. Upcoming week looks like alot of clouds, but if the sun comes out for a little while, I'll try it again if work permits.
