Default headed to rend

well i fired up the boat tonight!! woo hoo!! it runs again.....
goin to rend lake thursday and friday night. maybee even saturday if its totaly awesome like i think it will be. lookin for a 600 fish night

Knowing you you will probably shoot 600. Go Get em. But leave a few for the billy davis shoot. I'd hate to see Christine and Kendall get skunked with their new fantoon

Looks like we are all in agreement. My cousin Marty is hoping to get to Carlyle dam tomorrow. I'll let you all know how he does

some of the guys went to rend today and shot over 150 fish walkin the banks below the dam. its getting good down here.

went out to horseshoe and dropped the boat in the water.... it runs and floats. I think im good to go. Got the lights all wired up for the year and they all work so far. going on shooting sat to see what we can find. gunna be windy so im hoping we can find a few spots out of the wind. Good luck at rend Slim.

Cousin Marty went to the spill way on Saturday. Did not see any thing from above the dam. He went down and talked to a coulpe of bank fishermen. One guy said that early morning seems when he see's the big heads the most. He said that one day last week it was hard to cast out and it the water that there were so many big heads stacked shoulder to shoulder. But as always depends on the day. The water is low below the culverts down the ways. Everyday that goes by should get better. Need the water to get into the high 60's for them to really get active. The guy also told marty that he hears them splashing a lot at night.
