Default Taking The Boat On It's Maiden Voyage

I'm headed for the water after work tomorrow. Gonna see if I can find a few fish and see what kind of a job I did converting my boat into a bowfishing rig. Headed to some of the backwaters off of Hwy 94 in St. Charles County, MO. I checked it out tonight. Water is a little high, but no current back there.

Don't keep your cell phone or any other non-water proof items in your pocket.

Don't forget to put the drain plug in.

Good luck! Don't die!

Not planning on it.

This is mostly a feeling out trip with the boat. Trying to see what I need to tweak to make it work better. See how the lights work, etc. But a few fish would be nice too.

Well it didn't turn out so good. Now I remember why I hate boats. Motor wouldn't turn over very good, and had trouble starting. Played around with it a while there and gave up. Came back home and found a loose wire on the starter. It was an easy fix once I found the damn thing. *&&^$##%^&(((*&^&* It starts great and runs fine now that I'm in the yard.

I guess I'll just have to try it again tomorrow. Weather is still supposed to be nice.

It ran great a little over a month ago when I tried it out before I bought it.
