New to your forum,I'm live in Minnesota but I head to Illinios a few times a year and usually fish or hunt when I'm down there..Started bowfishing last year and can't get enough of it.Heading to the Carbondale area in the beginning of april to visit some family and thought I would bring my bow and get a early start(MN bowfishing doesn't open tell may 1st)
Welcome abord. Lots of nice places to shoot in southern Illinois. Let us know when you are coming down, Can probably get you hooked up with some one down that way. Have you shot big head's yet? wow, talk about addictive...come on in the water is fine.
thank you..and no I have never shot a big head YET...I'm pretty new to the sport been bowhunting sense I could pull one back but never tried sticking fish..boy was I dumb..just got a new setup for this year and I'm ready..I'm heading down there april 7-13 so I'm hoping to shoot somethingnew shouldn't be to hard all I shot are common carp dogfish and red horse
