Default Going out looking for fish today.

I know for most spots its a bit early to get em splashing around but with this 50 deg weather i cant help it. Checking some honey holes today to see if I see any fins. Will report what I see or dont see......

lol I hear yah. I need to do some work to mine before the season gets in full swing. Found a few bigheads today nothing really shootable though. Trying again tomorrow. Took some really nice pics with the new camera though. Will post a few after I download em and make em look all pretty in photoshop.

Gota love my neighborhood....... backwater bowfishing package (6 arrow blanks 6 tips) was delivered to my front steps when I wasnt home and in 2 hours it was stolen from my front steps. The thing that really pisses me off is they prolly took it not knowing what it was. They are going to get it home and throw it all away cause to them it junk.

Yup. got 3 bigheads and a silver today. They were all moving very slow. The silver had a weird growth over one of its eyes and was kinda spreading to cover one side of its face. It looked like a glob of mud but i tried to wipe it off and it wasnt mud. Picture below.

Anyone have a idea of what this fungus like blob is??

Kyle, Congradulations on the first 'CLUB FISH' of the year. It is usually pretty hard to beat Maddam President and her partner for that distinction. Nice going! Slim and a couple of his buddies are down at the tough man tournament as we speak. Well it was last night. I had visions of going until i seen how far down it was. He won it last year, anchious to see how he does this year. I just bought a nice Left handed Oneida for $50 that I set up for my left handed son-in-law. The fish are in trouble this year.
